Biography


Growing up as an Air Force brat, Amanda has been drawing since she could pick up a pencil. Her dream of becoming an animator began when she became a fanatic of the Garfield comic books and Disney movies. Amanda began her professional journey at the Southwestern University of Visual Arts, where she learned Graphic Design, Illustration and finally, Animation Graphics. She draws inspiration from Jim Davis (Garfield), Sylvian Chomet (The Triplets of Belleville), Sam Kieth (The Maxx), Osamu Tezuka (The Fantastic Adventures of Unico) and John Kricfalusi (Ren and Stimpy.)

Currently, she resides in Tucson, Arizona.
